Finance and Management

This course is aimed at students wishing to develop their knowledge of finance and management.

Entry requirements

UK students are required to have a good honours degree (2.1 preferred) or equivalent in economics, accounting, business studies, maths, statistics, computing, or related subjects, or an equivalent professional qualification. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.5.

Course modules

Compulsory classes: principles of finance; accounting and financial analysis; international financial markets and banking; professional management practice; elective classes; finance classes. Choose at least one: topics in corporate finance; security analysis; managerial accounting; behavioural finance; derivatives; management classes. Choose at least one: global business environment; project and programme management; developing effective consulting skills; managing in europe; marketing management. Semester 3; summer classes; business strategy; project methodology; project 1: finance and project 2: management.

Assessment methods

he course is assessed through written assignments, group and individual projects, examinations and presentations.
