Managing Human Resource (Oman)

Students on this course engage with contemporary ideas and arguments about human resource management and international human resource management within organisations.

Entry requirements

1st or 2nd Honours degree, or equivalent, in any discipline. In addition, all successful applicants will normally be required to have had a period of relevant experience in a human resources or general management position.
Students whose 1st language is not English, achievement of an IELTS score of 6.5 with no criteria below 5.5.

Course modules

Semester 1: the reflective practioner; people resourcing. Semester 2: HRM in a business context; managing people in organisations. Semester 3: research methods for HR professionals; human resource development. Semester 4: global staffing; managing talent and succession planning. Semesters 3 and 4: dissertation.
