This course develops the combination of technical knowledge and management expertise that are required to successfully deliver multi-million pound engineering projects.
An Honours degree (2.2 or above) in engineering discipline for MSc or equivalent professional qualification; candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Modules include: Stage 1: Research skills and academic literacy; project management and control (double unit); engineering operations management. Stage 2: Decision support for management; project risk and quality management; managing people and project leadership; advanced maintenance practice. Stage 3: Projects.
Assessment methods include individual written reports and research papers, practical assignments and the Master's project.
