This course is designed to teach project management to people from any discipline. Unlike many other project management courses, you do not need an engineering or technical background to apply. A large number of our students are from business, arts and other backgrounds.
We require applicants to hold at least a 2.2 Honours degree in any subject. We will also consider applicants who have other qualifications and substantial work experience.
Modules include: Stage 1: Project management and control (double unit); commercial and contractual issues; research skills and academic literacy. Stage 2: Managing people and project leadership; international project management and practice; decision support for management; project risk and quality management. Stage 3: Projects.
Assessment methods include individual written reports and research papers, practical assignments and the Master's project.
