Environment, Health and Safety

As sustainability becomes ever more important, there are a wide range of career opportunities in managing environmental impacts and health and safety. The course is designed to give you the skills and professionalism to take up these opportunities.

Entry requirements

Applications are welcome from holders of an honours degree in any subject. We will also consider applicants who have relevant experience and who can demonstrate their suitability for the course.

Course modules

Modules include: Data analysis and research methods; health and safety 1; health and safety 2; environmental auditing and management systems; environmental impact assessment; pollution, monitoring and control; environmental reporting; life-cycle analysis; placement; research project.

Assessment methods

Assessment is mainly through coursework and the research project.
