This programme enables graduates to acquire the knowledge and understanding, skills and aptitudes necessary to undertake advanced practice and research in the curatorial studies of contemporary art, design, event and museum collections.
An Honours degree; candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Modules include: Stage 1: provides 2 core modules: genealogies of curating; and mechanics of curating; stage 2: curating a region; visions of curating; stage 3: self-negotiated and enables students to achieve the practical project and report.
Assessment methods include: essay, module journal and a visual and textual presentation.
