Students develop their strategic knowledge, functional competence and problem-solving ability; they also learn how to re-apply the best of international management practices and how to implement approaches that deliver outstanding results.
Applicants require a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent; applicants must have a minimum 6 months' work experience and should be able to demonstrate their ability to operate at a managerial level; applicants with over 5 years' experience at a managerial level but without an undergraduate degree with be reviewed based on their suitability for the course.
Modules include: managing and leading people; operations management; marketing management; international business environment; global corporate strategy; financial management and control; information management; dissertation. Optional modules include: managing diversity; project management; innovation and growth; enterprise and entrepreneurship; innovation management; service operations management; international marketing; international marketing; organisation development and change.
Assessment is based on presentations; reports; work-based action research; and peer and self-assessment; and a dissertation.
