International Management

Through the course students develop knowledge and understanding of business in a global context, including the way that business is done in different countries. Students also develop skills and abilities in international business, cross-cultural management and communication.

Entry requirements

At least a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Developing skills for business leadership; international trade; global integrated marketing communications; international business environment; global corporate strategy; international human resource management; cross cultural management; applied research methods for business and management; dissertation. Optional module: managing diversity; project management; innovation and growth; enterprise and entrepreneurship; service operations management; consumer research; organisational development and change.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include: presentations; reports; and peer and self-assessment.
