Tourism and Hospitality Management
This programme applies a social scientific approach to both tourism and hospitality studies through a focus on the contexts of globalisation, commercialisation and consumption.
An Honours degree, or equivalent experience; applicants without formal qualifications with industrial experience are welcome.
Modules include: Stage 1: international tourism development; hospitality management studies. Stage 2:critical tourism theory and methods and 1 of : hospitality work-based learning; current practices in tourism, hospitality and events. Stage 3: tourism and hospitality major project.
Assessment methods include essays, project reports, portfolios, presentations and an examination.
