The programme supports career development with a tight focus on the international school system and its challenges and opportunities.
We usually require applicants to hold at least a 2nd class Honours degree (usually a 2.1) or equivalent. Applicants should normally hold a recognised teaching qualification.
Modules include: Development of learning: a case study; negotiated individual study in education; the international school curriculum; leading and managing in international schools. 2 modules from: developing reflective practices; advanced pedagogical practice in subject related disciplines; leading organisational effectiveness in education and training; assessment theory into pedagogical practice.
Assessment methods include case studies, research proposals and written assignments.
