International Hospitality Management (Euromasters)

This programme is specifically designed for the needs of future managers, executives and professionals in the hospitality industry; it addresses, from an international perspective, the individual components of the hospitality industry and the interrelationships between those components. You will graduate equipped with the skills to evaluate and analyse the international hospitality sector from a managerial, operational and organisational perspective. The structure of our Euromasters programme gives you the chance to work on a placement in industry between the 2 years of study. This experience will not only help in the 2nd year of the programme, but will also give students (particularly those with little prior work experience) a significant advantage in terms of employability upon graduation. Academically, you will also benefit from undertaking your dissertation during semester time rather than over the summer (as would be the case on a one-year programme). This offers you the advantage of having more potential access to your dissertation supervisor. You will also, through the selection of elective modules, be able to tailor your education to your own particular interests or career aspirations.

Entry requirements

Applicants should normally hold a Bachelors degree (UK 2.1 or above) or equivalent qualification from a recognised British or overseas university. Relevant work experience could be an additional benefit where applicants have not reached the standard entry requirements, although it is not an admissions requirement for this particular degree programme. Higher level professional qualifications may also be accepted. Each applicant is assessed on their own merit. Students whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (with a minimum 6.0 in each component).
