Medical Microbiology (Euromasters)
This programme combines taught modules with extensive research training, increasing your scientific understanding of Medical Microbiology whilst developing your critical and analytical skills. You will study theoretical aspects of Medical Microbiology which encompass: the biological and pathogenic properties of microbes; their role in health and disease; the reactions of the host to infection; and the scientific basis for the detection, control and antimicrobial treatment of infectious disease.
MSc (European): Applicants should usually possess at least a 2:2 honours degree in a relevant subject from an approved university. Applications from candidates not possessing the qualifications mentioned above may be considered, depending on the length and quality of their experience, published works and recommendations from employers. Such candidates may be required to complete a qualifying assessment. English language requirements: IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall, 6.5 in each component (or equivalent). Assessment methods include examinations and coursework, which may take the form of essays, data analysis, practical reports or multiple choice questions.
