The course offers postgraduate research in a range of health-related topics; students are expected to demonstrate original thought and a capacity for critical evaluation; past research themes have included: research themes: cardiovascular disease, diabetes and metabolism; health care practice and well-being research; infection and immunity; materials and nanobiology; sleep, chronobiology and neurodisorders; drug design, cancer and toxicity.
Candidates should have a good Honours degree (Upper 2nd) in an appropriate discipline; prior experience in research or health and social care may be acceptable; a good command of the English language.
