Management

This is an exciting course for those seeking to enter the growing field of management, or for those who are looking for a career change. The course is open to applicants from all backgrounds but is primarily targeted at students who have not previously studied business and management. The course provides the broad-ranging management knowledge, and intellectual and practical skills that contemporary managers need to deal effectively with the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment. You learn to challenge preconceptions and to remove subject/functional boundaries in order to handle strategic situations holistically. You are given an opportunity to develop the ability to analyse, synthesise and solve complex unstructured business and management problems. This course offers an environment for effective and collaborative learning and encourages you to take responsibility for your own learning through the use of student-centred approaches. In addition, your studies benefit from company visits, simulations, case studies and a guest lecture series featuring international speakers and industry leaders.
