Drama, Theatre and Performance

Our postgraduate community benefits from a wide range of seminars and events, and incorporates a number of different research interests. This provides plenty of opportunity for you to interact with other researchers within the School of English. You have access to the wide range of training courses and seminars provided both within the School and by our Doctoral School. MPhil and PhD students have access to 2 diverse practical workshop spaces and equipment: 1 black box studio and a white, flexible, multimedia lab. A drama technician is available to help develop practical work. In addition, from 2015 all students will have access to the Attenborough Centre, the newly refurbished on-campus centre for the creative arts, with a variety of high-tech performance spaces to work in.
