MPhil: A 1st- or upper 2nd-Class undergraduate Honours degree or equivalent. Applicants should submit an outline (2 to 3 pages) of their research interests.
PhD: A Masters degree in a subject relevant to your research. Applicants should submit an outline research proposal (3 to 4 pages) indicating their topic, a brief literature review, methodology, timeline and a short bibliography of relevant source. For non-native speakers of English: IELTS 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each section. Pearson test of English (academic) 62 overall, with at least 56 in all 4 skills.
Recent thesis titles include: Changing media, changing feminisms; the older woman's body as a source of horror; the queer uncanny; breaking the silence - lesbian clients speaking out about their experiences of counselling; honour killings in Turkey; lone mothers and social policy in Korea.
