Applied Social Psychology
A 1st- or upper 2nd-Class undergraduate Honours degree in psychology or, exceptionally, in a closely linked degree that has a substantial psychology component.
Core modules include: Advanced research methods in psychology; applications of social psychology; ethics, philosophy and methods of research; linear models in statistics; research dissertation; social neuroscience; social psychology of consumer behaviour; structural equation modelling. Option modules may include: Applied social psychology research internship; drug addiction and its treatment.
The taught modules are assessed by a variety of methods that include term papers, presentations and unseen examinations. The project is assessed by a dissertation.
