Aviation

Students are taught by a mix of management and aviation specialists. The course aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in management principles, practices and techniques strongly contextualised to aviation applications.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree in a related subject, for example aircraft engineering or an equivalent professional qualification. Students with relevant qualifications along with appropriate professional experience in the airline industry are encouraged to apply. International students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5 or above or other appropriate English Language Qualification with a minimum score of 6 in each of the 4 language skills tested - listening, reading, writing and speaking. Candidates are expected to have 2 years relevant work experience or be able provide evidence of leadership through professional and personal experiences.

Course modules

It is possible to study individual modules for personal or professional development, or work towards the PgCert, PgDip or full Masters degree
Modules include: PgCert: Operations management; corporate and competitive strategy; understanding contemporary leadership and management; global business environment. PgDip: strategic marketing; quality and safety management in aviation; entrepreneurial strategy and business growth; management, accounting and finance.
