E-Marketing

This programme is designed to provide an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of marketing online to reduce the direct marketing costs of a range of businesses. Its key elements of marketing, social media and customer relationship management help students look at the marketing opportunities in a wide way and explore how technology can be used to effectively support their business as it develops.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject. A 3rd or an ordinary degree is considered with appropriate professional experience. Candidates with no formal qualifications, who can demonstrate a capability and engagement in appropriate CPD, are considered under the University's Recognition of Prior. Learning (RPL) procedures, and may need to complete an appropriate bridging module before undertaking the PgCert.

Course modules

It is possible to study individual modules for personal or professional development, or work towards the PgCert, PgDip or full Masters degree Modules include: PgCert: online customer relationship marketing; emarketing; entreprenurial strategy and business growth; innovation for commercialisation; leading and managing remotely; managing external and internal engagement, communication and marketing. PgDip: digital measurement and optimisation; social media for management and marketing; entrepreneurial strategy and business growth; innovation for commercialisation; leading and managing remotely; managing external and internal engagement, communication and marketing. MSc: research methods; research project and dissertation.
