Managing Respiratory Disorders
Progressively more people with long term conditions are being cared for in the community; however, those hospitalised with respiratory disorders progressively require specialised, multidisciplinary interventional care; this programme has been specifically designed for registered nurses and professioanl healthcare practitioners to gain enhanced knowledge to deliver high-quality care specific to respiratory disorders.
Applicants have a professional qualification in a health, social care or allied health profession.
Modules include: Essentials of respiratory care; respiratory assessment skills; respiratory failure; COPD or asthma; childhood respiratory problems; non-malignant palliative care; non-medical prescribing theory and practice.
