University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD)
This programme is aimed at providing graduates with the knowledge and skills to enable them to satisfy the demands of employers developing and enhancing their use of information communication technology (ICT), particularly in the area of e-commerce. This programme will have a strong focus on data analysis and other factors that affect eCommerce such as law, marketing/social media, privacy, intellectual property etc. Students will use their expertise to manage teams that design, implement, test and maintain innovative eCommerce based solutions in contemporary organisations.
Honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; command of spoken and written English to meet the demands of the programme.
Modules include: Research methods; innovation and business development; web design and usability; inter-networking and security; web system design and implementation; e-commerce law and marketing (business pathway); advanced web programming and systems software (technology pathway); major project.
Assessment by: Coursework; examinations; dissertation.
