University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD)
The programme is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and skills within the field of computing. The course is aimed at students who already have a first degree in computing, have some existing software engineering skills, and wish to deepen their knowledge. This programme will have a strong focus on how data can be exploited within an organisation and will emphasise the communication of that data to a target audience.
An Honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; graduates of non-UK universities require sufficient command of spoken and written English to meet the demands of the programme (e.g. TOEFL 550 or equivalent).
Modules include: Research methods; human organisational management; databases and data warehousing; systems analysis and project management; application programming; major project.
Assessment by: coursework; paper/oral examination; dissertation.
