Lean and Agile Manufacturing
Students gain knowledge of lean manufacturing strategies, quality management and engineering techniques, logistics and supply chain management, in addition to advanced technology for design and manufacture.
An Honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; command of spoken and written English to meet the demands of the programme (eg TOEFL 550 or equivalent).
Modules include: lean and agile manufacturing; contemporary logistics; quality engineering; advanced manufacturing processes; advanced CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing); design for manufacture; research methods; innovation and business development; major project.
Assessment by: coursework; examination; dissertation.
