This programme was developed to enhance the workforce in the field of youth work; rooted in professional practice, the programme consists of 2 postgraduate diploma routes; the professional qualifying route is designed to provide a route to professional qualification for those who have a related degree and/or have relevant experience of informal education or youth work; the academic route offers a professional development opportunity for those who already hold a recognised professional qualification in youth and community work.
