A 2.1 or 1st class undergraduate degree; the school encourages students with an equivalent and appropriate professional qualification or significant and relevant professional experience to apply.
All years: power and culture in the hellenistic east; Julius Caesar and his times; between narrative and interpretation (writing history in the ancient world); the Greek economy in the archaic and classical periods; early Rome and Italy; women in ancient myth and society; pagans, Jews and Christians; ancient languages; dissertation.
Assessment methods include essays, exams and presentations.
