The course has a strong focus on linguistic attainment in both Greek and Latin, incorporating aspects of advanced-level language acquisition and textual interpretation; the programme contains a substantial language element and offers advanced language study in 1 language with the requirement to take a 2nd classical language at an appropriate level.
A 2.1 or 1st class undergraduate degree; the school encourages students with an equivalent and appropriate professional qualification or significant and relevant professional experience to apply; linguistic skills at advanced level in at least one of the classical languages are a prerequisite for this degree scheme; students who do not have a classical language at advanced level can use the postgraduate diplomas in Greek or Latin as pathways into the Master�s degree.
