Research areas include: Anglophone Caribbean literature; Black British literature; Indo-Caribbean studies; Caribbean history; French Caribbean literature; post-colonial theory; French Caribbean women's writing; slavery and race; post-emancipation resistance in the Caribbean; Jamaica; African and Caribbean women; Afro-Caribbean religion.

Entry requirements

Minimum 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent is normally required; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100 PTE 70.
