Ancient Visual and Material Culture

This course is the ideal foundation for a career in museum work or education, and it also equips you for further PhD study in related fields. You will undertake specialist research training in art, numismatics and epigraphy, with museum visits forming an important part of the programme. Teaching comprises two core modules - one is a language module and the other focuses on issues of reception, historiography and museum display

Entry requirements

A Minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree in classics, ancient history, history of art, or a related subject; IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 100 or PTE 70 for applicants whose 1st language is not English.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by 15000-20000 word dissertation.
