Research interests are predominantly 1870 to present and include: 19th-century drama; Weimar Republic; culture and political culture of Federal Republic; 19th-century drama; literature of German Democratic Republic; modern poetry; German cinema and media; German cultural studies; critical theory.

Entry requirements

At least an Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant field; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 100, PTE 70, CAE 60+ or CPE.

Sponsorship information

Arts and Humanities Research Board studentship; Warwick Postgraduate Research Fellowship.
