History of Medicine

This course introduces you to the advanced study of the history of medicine and the medical humanities, placing developments in medical theory and practice in a social and cultural framework.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent in History or related fields normally required; English language requirements: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL (iBT) 100, PTE 62, CAE 60+ or CPE.

Course modules

Modules include: Themes and methods in medical history; theory, skills and method; matters of life and death; plus optional modules.
