Current staff research interests: Modern and contemporary narrative; post-war culture and social commitment; migrant writing; Pirandello; modernism; 19th- and 20th-century novel; writing by women; the Middle Ages with particular reference to Dante and medieval science; Italian Renaissance literature; travel literature and journalism; translation studies; applied linguistics; children's literature; Triestine writing; programme also includes some taught modules and training in research methods.

Entry requirements

1st Class or 2.1 Honours and a Master's degree or non-UK equivalent; English language requirements: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL (iBT) 100, PTE 70, CAE 60+ or CPE.
