The module introduces the issues surrounding the effects of diabetes mellitus on the retina and is aimed at health care professionals across the whole spectrum of disciplines and experience; there is an increasing market for postgraduate training amongst nurses and this module is designed to meet the need for CPD and CME in a multi-disciplinary context.
Lower 2nd Class Honours in a 1st degree of an approved university in a relevant discipline or disciplines; students with a 1st language that is not English are expected to obtain 1 of the following recognised English language qualifications: IELTS of at least 6.5 with 6.5 in reading and writing, TOEFL of at least 92 (internet-based iBT) or PTE 62.
