Introduction to Management in Health Services Organisations
This is a post experiential course in core management skills geared towards the needs of professionals working within health care whose management responsibilities may range from managing themselves, a team, a practice, a department or a locality; designed by Warwick Medical School in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed Warwick Business School, this course should appeal to all clinicians and social care professionals who have managerial responsibilities; the module introduces students to core management concepts and their translation and application to a health services context.
Upper 2nd Class Honours in a 1st degree of an approved university in a relevant discipline or disciplines; students with a 1st language that is not English are expected to obtain 1 of the following recognised English language qualifications: IELTS (British Council International Testing System) of at least 6.5; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) of at least 600 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based) or 92 (internet-based iBT).
