University of Warwick
This programme focuses on exploring links between effective leadership and improving organisations, services and healthcare provision; all practising doctors are responsible for the use of resources and many also lead teams or be involved in the supervision of colleagues; for these reasons an understanding of effective leadership is crucial to improve the way healthcare is delivered; as a part time programme, this course is particularly flexible making it easy for medical professionals to continue to practise alongside study; this programme matches the competency outcomes in the Medical Leadership Competency Framework, a system developed by the Academy Of Medical Royal Colleges and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement; it is also endorsed by the General Medical Council (GMC).
