Computer Science and Applications

The course comprises 6 assessed coursework modules over 2 terms followed by a 6-month research project; it provides a flexible interdisciplinary course covering a wide range of advanced research-led topics; topics range from core computer science to the application of advanced techniques in areas such as mathematics, science, computational biology, and scientific computing; students develop the skills needed in the many areas in which computing is applied, from bioinformatics to multimedia systems.

Entry requirements

Lower 2nd Class Honours degree in Computer Science or a related subject; candidates with English not as their 1st language require IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 92 or PTE 62.
