Students take Foundations of Scientific Computing (this course needs completing in the week before the year starts as a foundation for the following core modules); high performance scientific computing; computational linear algebra and optimisation; data structure and algorithms and data algorithms design; Monte Carlo methods; computational PDE's (numerics).
2.1 Honours degree or higher in a science-related subject; plus an A-level or the equivalent in mathematics; English language requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (iBT) 92, PTE 62, CAE 60+ or CPE.
