Techniques and Applications of Molecular Biology

This 4 day course is for those in the medical profession wishing to develop their understanding of the principles and applications of genetic engineering techniques; it combines lectures, tutorials and hands-on laboratory sessions to cover techniques such as cloning, PCR, microarrays, cell culture and the diagnosis of inherited diseases; optional accreditation leads to a Postgraduate Award.

Entry requirements

2.2 degree or equivalent; applicants without a degree but with relevant experience may also be considered; IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 92, PTE 62, CAE 60+ or CPE.
