Research areas include: analysis, applied mathematics, numerical analysis, probability and statistics, but the entire programme is very flexible and students can specialise in different themes and techniques.

Entry requirements

1st Class integrated MA, MMath or MSc degree in mathematics or a science degree with high mathematical content. EU and overseas applicants with 3+2 MSc degrees should contact the University to discuss eligibility. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5.
