The MSc provides a thorough grounding in statistical theory and techniques, as a launching pad for a professional career involving statistics, or as a prelude to a research degree; in addition to the lecture-based course the MSc requires a 3-month project.
Upper 2nd Class Honours degree with at least basic courses in mathematics and statistics normally required; applicants whose 1st language is not English may be required to take pre-enrolment English course.
