Drama and Theatre Education
The course provides students with a practical and theoretical base for developing a drama curriculum and pedagogy for schools; colleges and other educational and community contexts; it reflects current developments in education and a broad range of theatre and drama work.
Lower 2nd Class Honours in a relevant discipline; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 92 or PTE 62.
Modules include: Drama and theatre in theory and practice; the role of story in drama and theatre education; drama and the curriculum; drama and literacy; research methods and dissertation.
