Current research available in 4 main areas, between which there is considerable interaction: Cognitive development in arithmetic and algebra; the primary laptop project; advanced mathematical thinking; developing a theory of learning.

Entry requirements

2.1 Honours degree or equivalent normally required plus experience of teaching mathematics within school or university and/or good mathematical background; English language requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (iBT) 92, PTE 62, CAE 60+ or CPE.
