United States Foreign Policy
As a leading global power, the United States and its foreign affairs have a significant impact upon international relations, both in terms of policy and academic scholarship; the course examines the current theories and debates within US foreign policy; students analyse the role of the US as a global power and its impact in the areas of policy, the economy, international relations, and particularly security; with a high concentration of US foreign policy experts among PAIS academics, the department is in a unique position to bring cutting-edge, in-depth knowledge and discussion to postgraduate study in this field.
2.1 Honours degree or equivalent; English language requirements: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL (iBT) 100, PTE 70, CAE 60+ or CPE.
