Advanced Legal Studies

This course enables you to build your own degree, developing a breadth of interests or finding your own niche specialism. The course provides a pathway to several legal specialisms including: justice and security; gender and corporate governance; social and economic change and non-governmental organisations (NGOs); and human rights and global capital. You will be assessed through different methods, which may include essays, examinations, portfolios, presentations and a dissertation.

Entry requirements

A 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Law or a related Social Sciences discipline with significant legal content; where the 1st language is not English: IELTS 7.0 or better, TOEFL 100.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by 10000-word dissertation.
