University of Warwick
Information Systems Management and Innovation
This course enables students to learn how to use technology intelligently and creatively to achieve competitive business advantage. We will develop your management and consulting skills and encourage your critical thinking about wider issues outside narrow technology boundaries. Its about using technology to enhance business, not technical coding. Our course focuses on putting theory into practice. We have close relationships with many IT and consulting organisations including Ernst & Young, Barclays Capital, SAP, Google, and Deloitte. All value the WBS approach to developing managers with a creative approach to integrated technology. Deloitte, for example, provide insights on the challenges and approaches to client work by running a whole module for us.
You must have a good undergraduate degree from a UK university, or the equivalent from an overseas university. We welcome applications from a broad range of disciplines. If English is not your first language, you must meet a minimum overall standard in a recognised test of English: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL (iBT) 100, PTE 70, CAE 60+ or CPE.
Assessment is a mainly coursework with some exams. Your 12,000 word dissertation brings together all your learning at the end.
We have over 2million of WBS Scholarships available to the strongest candidates to our Masters courses. We consider all eligible applicants while funds are available so do apply for the course as early as possible if you'd like to be considered.
