Accounting and Finance
This course will allow students to explore how accounting and reporting decisions affect markets and companies. Study accounting in its wider social context
A 1st or good 2.1 degree from a UK university or the equivalent from an overseas university; degree must be in a relevant subject, such as accounting, finance, economics, business administration, engineering, or other sciences; good standard achieved in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and economics at undergraduate level; IELTS 7.0, TOEFL (iBT) 100 or equivalent.
Modules include: Asset pricing and investments; corporate financial management; financial reporting and financial statement analysis; issues in accounting, and research methods in accounting.
Assessment is a mix of exams, project work, and tests, with your 10-12,000 word project and dissertation bringing all your learning together.
