Current staff research interests: modern and contemporary narrative; post-war culture and social commitment; migrant writing; Pirandello; modernism; 19th- and 20th-century novel; writing by women; the Middle Ages with particular reference to Dante and medieval science; Italian Renaissance literature; travel literature and journalism; translation studies; applied linguistics; children's literature; Triestine writing.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree in Italian or joint degree with Italian and Masters degree; English language requirements: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL (iBT) 100, PTE 70, CAE 60+ or CPE.
