This course will appeal to you if you have a strong background in the subject and wish to gain advanced and rigorous training in modern economics, as preparation for a career as a professional economist or analyst.

Entry requirements

A first or upper 2nd-class honours degree specialising in Economics or equivalent and a good standard of undergraduate mathematics and economics statistics. IELTS 6.5 is required. Full transcript should be included with the application.

Course modules

Modules include: Introductory mathematics and statistics; (micro) advanced microeconomic economic analysis; (macro) economic analysis; econometrics A; econometrics; econometrics B; psychological models of economic choice; economic and psychological science (implications and applications); issues and methods in psychology.
