Research areas include: Bayesian statistics; time series and forecasting; numerical methods; probability theory and applications; game theory; image analysis; design and analysis of experiments; socio-medical statistics; financial mathematics; industrial statistics and risk; medical statistics.

Entry requirements

1st Class Honours degree in subject with substantial mathematical content required; applicants should have had sound basic training in statistics through either joint degree in mathematics and statistics or postgraduate programme in statistics or operational research techniques; English language requirements: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 92, PTE 62, CAE 60+ or CPE.
