International Banking and Finance Law

This programme is aimed at students seeking to understand and work as a legal expert in the area of multinational corporations, and covers topics including syndicate loans, bond issuances and derivatives markets.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification with appropriate law content; students with 3 years' legal or relevant commercial work experience may be considered subject to interview; applicants with extensive work experience are considered on a case by case basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or above, at a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components, TOEFL internet-based test 90 or above, Pearson PTE Academic 58 or above, or an equivalent secure English language test.

Course modules

Modules include: Legal aspects of international financial law; international commercial arbitration and mediation; research methodology; dissertation ; international banking law; securities regulations.
