International Studies in Intellectual Property Law

The programme covers copyright, trade mark and patent law, along with its European and international aspects, as well as legal questions associated with new technologies, multimedia and cyberspace.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification with appropriate law content; students with 3 years' legal or relevant commercial work experience may be considered subject to interview; applicants with extensive work experience are considered on a case by case basis; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or above, at a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components, TOEFL internet-based test 90 or above, Pearson PTE Academic 58 or above, or an equivalent secure English language test.

Course modules

Modules include: International commercial arbitration and mediation; international commercial law; research methodology; dissertation; commercial intellectual property law; intellectual property law in the digital age.
